Bio

Wouter Tulp attended the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam. Since his graduation in 2001 he has been making a living as an illustrator.
Working as a caricatiurist, an editorial illustrator, a children's book illustrator as well as participating in animation projects, his work shows a great diversity. Working so diversely, Wouter developed many techniques, such as gouache, acrylic, ink, oils, an digital media.
Wouters caricatures are published in many authorative magazines and newspapers in the Netherlands, like HP/deTijd, Algemeen Dagblad, Het Financieele Dagblad, Playboy, Panorama, Safe, Commarts Illustration Annual, Ode, Samsonic, Adformatie and many more. Some of his caricature designs were used in the VARA tv-series "Cafe de wereld".
Wouter has illustrated many children's books for different writers, like Tjibbe Veldkamp, Some of his illustrations were published in Annie M.G. Schmidt's "Allemaal sprookjes".
