I spent the weekend in Paris. I had the opportunity to visit Musee d' Orsay, and see many, many very beautiful works by Degas, Monet, Manet, L'Hermitte , Rodin and many others. There was a special exhibition dedicated to the works of Jean Leon Gerome. Until then I had only seen reproductions of his paintings, and seeing them in real life was just amazing... I was blown away by his use of color, his understanding of light and reflections...I also visited gallery Arludik on the last day of their Glen Keane exhibition. Again I was blown away by his skillful drawings, and the ease with which he seems to handle his subjects...
There was nothing left to do for me but to try and blow Paris away in return...

Parijs! Schitterend! Had geen idee dat er een expositie van Keane in Parijs was. Jammer, gemist, had het anders zeker even uitgecheckt.
