Caricature tutorial

Hi all. So there's a first time for everything. This is my first gumroad tutorial. In this demo I show my process of setting up a caricature, based on the gesture in the face and adding volumes by adding tonality. In the video I talk you through the process from the very first line to the final result you can see as the cover for this product.
With first times come first time mistakes, and as I played back the recording, I discovered the sound is a bit crunchy from time to time. So why not start my launch at gumroad with a discount. Only $5 for this demo, that lasts over an hour!!

I wanted to do sketch recording. Unfortunately the screencapture program crashed... No recording, but I did save the drawing...

Illustration for 'De Correspondent'

This was a fun illustration to make, even though I had very little time to do it.  Here's a link to the article  LINK

Illustration about organ donation

Illustration for 'De Correspondent' about the altruistic deed of donating an organ for a stranger.
The article refers to the biblical story of the good samaritan. This is why the donor is depicted in the style of a stained glass window.

Pop-up house

I created these two concepts of Hansl and Gretl's hous as a popup book for a pitch. They were based on the two illustrations below. I was really fun to visualise this concept. The book however will probably not be made, since it is used merely to sell a concept.

The Boston Beard

I don't know much about baseball, but visually I was intrigued by the idea of baseball players growing their beards. This is not a specific player, just an imaginative character

De correspondent

This is an illustration I did for thye new digital magazine: ' De Correspondent'. (LINK)
The story is about the fact that more and more families are in financial trouble. They can't pay their rent and have to live with many others in care homes.
