Three works accepted in RIC competition

I am happy to announce that three of my illustrations have been accepted in the Richmond Illustrators club 5th Juried show.

A full color catalog of the show will be available at the opening of the show: The show opens June 1st from 7-10pm at Ghostprint Gallery in Richmond, VA, and runs until June 30th. There will also be a preview opening Thursday, May 31th from 6-8pm. June 1st is Richmond's First Friday Gallery Walk, a city-wide, monthly event where many galleries open new exhibitions at the same time.  It draws thousands of people and is a great time to display artwork. This is a book cover illustration for Jennifer Peersmann's new book. I started with some thumbnailsketches, resulting in the asic laout sketch above. I inked the sketch . Then I experimented with some color concepts, and finally used the basic idea of the color sketch in the final illustration.

The end is near!!!

Termite Bianca

On the wave of the success Marco Bianchini's Termite Bianca, he decided to prepare a new book with international authors who all give their interpretation of Termite Bianca with their own style and sensibility. This is my contribution to the book.
