Studies studies studies. I really enjoy studying life models. With everey drawing I learn more about the human figure, shapes, anatomy, and translating that into a drawing...

My first steps in animation.
I finally puchased animation software, so I can experiment and find out what this medium is about. It is really fascinating studying movement, timing, squash and stretch.
Having good fundamentals in understanding shapes, 3 dimensionality and basiscs of anatomy is essential to make a character move convincingly.

the golden trio

After a long time i finally had the opportunity to do a commisioned caricature again. These are Johan Cruijff, Rinus Michels, and Marco van Basten: three of Hollands best soccer coaches.

I did it in little over one day. Very little time. The whole illustration was done digitally.
