Unfortunately the illustration was rejected in the end. On second thought they found the illustration too negative.
Too bad, although I personally am very glad I got to finish the sketch. I learned some more about textures and digital illustration...
More than a comment it is a questions.
ReplyDeleteIn cases like this one did you get paid?
I trying to get into the illustration business and I just wondering how to handle this scenario.
Thanks,
Emerson
PS
By the way great website.
I wouldn't have rejected it! Beside the great skills it shows, it has a wonderful sense of humour
ReplyDeleteHi Emerson,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment.
Always make sure you get paid for the work you do. When you buy a suit it is up to you wether you wear it or not. You have to pay for it anyway...
very cool work, mr. tulp. i love the movement in this painting.
ReplyDeleteIts a great illustration and i for one think its 'negativity' is very true to life in our workfare society!
